Sticky Sunday

Today was such an odd day....which began with the Captain and I waking up to what looked like a murder scene in our kitchen. A bottle of red wine exploded in the middle of the night. You would think this would have woken us up....however we are both on a lot of cold medicine right now ;-) We slept right through the fiasco - the kitties had a ball though....the kitchen was full of little red paw prints!! There was red wine everywhere....the ceiling, the floor, the cabinets, the counter, my cute heart shaped rugs....everywhere!!! It was one of the bottles we recently bought while in Leavenworth....and of course it was the one I was really excited about - it tasted like gingerbread. The crime scene is pretty much clean now.....we weren't able to save the rugs....and the labels of all our other wine and alcohol are yucky now, including my Marilyn Merlots ;-(

Curtsy Mama was finishing up moving in to her new place today, and I was swamped at Curtsyland!! I feel like I wrapped a million Halloween presents today.
