Water, Water Everywhere!!

Sorry we didn't blog last night. The Curtsy Girls were dealing with a little roof leak at Curtsyland. Actually, Danielle discovered it right next to our lingerie section (eek!!)just in the nick of time. We were able to get everything out of the way, call our intrepid landlord and save the store from any soggy undies. This morning when I came in, I had just finished sending an e-mail when I looked down and noticed water seeping out from where my computer's hard drive was sitting on the floor (EEEEEEKKKKKK!!!!!!) Luckily I was able to save all the electrical equipment from the water that just kept seeping through the wall. Needless to say, I've spent most of the day re-arranging my office and computer equipment in the back so that nothing sits on the floor.



All this rain makes me long to go someplace sunny and tropical and exotic. Actually in January, I'll be traveling back to Florida to see my mom - not exactly exotic, but at least it's tropical. Many times when I travel I pack light and just carry on a bag. With the boys and girls at security always pulling everything out of my bag, I like to have some classy accessories stowed in my suitcase. I love this set of 3 giraffe patterned makeup bags. The 3 different sizes are perfect for holding jewelry, makeup brushes and your little zip lock bag of liquid stuff.

One other great gift idea for the person who has everything. This 3 gun vase by Suck UK is probably something they don't already have. It comes with the silk roses, but there are also glass tubes in the each of the barrels that can be filled with water and real flowers. We had 2 little boys in the store not long ago and one of them saw the vase and said to the other "Dude, look - Guns and Roses!" They must have heard their parents talk about the band cuz they were way too young, but none the less - I cracked up!
